I have tried quite a few salt sprays and all of them have left me wondering why people like them. As a surfer and someone who grew up at the beach, I was used to loving the look and feel of coming out of the surf with great hair. For some reason other salt sprays were never able to recreate that look for me, as they left my hair feeling 'fried', dried, and brittle. That has all changed with Patrick's SF1 Sea Salt Foam. The reason I took the leap of faith on this one is that I have used several of the other Patrick's products, and they have never let me down. This product is easy to use, gives me the volume and texture I need for my relatively shorter hair and it is very consistent with the look it gives me. Besides that, I was surprised that it actually gave me a bit of shine and brightness to my blonde hair (where others made my hair duller). I have only been using it for a little more than a week, but I already know that it will be my go to daily styler.

This Sea Salt Foam was a very pleasant surprise. I honestly did not expect to like it this much. I have tried a few other options, but I keep drifting back to this one. It delivers a consistently great finish and has now become my travel staple.

A little goes a long way, and the foam itself is quite dense and very workable. It spreads easily, adds great texture and volume, and does not leave my hair crunchy or dry. The scent is subtle and pleasant. I use it alongside M2 and the result looks natural and effortless.

The price definitely makes you wince slightly, and I found the bottle leaks a bit and gets so sticky it could put gorilla glue out of business. However, the product itself is excellent and well worth trying if you want premium texture and hold.
